After Effects 3D Camera Tutorial – Part 1
Due to request, I created this quick effect to demonstrate how to properly make use of Adobe After Effect’s Camera. The Camera in After Effects is very useful for a multitude of effects, but we use it’s most basic application by creating some 3D text layers, adding a few effects, and some quick particles! This is going to be a desperate question; and I hope SOMEONE answers me fairly quick…. when I generate all this and then go to CUSTOM VIEW 1 for the camera; my background becomes black? Why is black? Why isn’t? it still the ramp that I have on the active camera?

to everyone who watches this. i do not have the trapcode plugin but i do have a video overlay of the effect seen in this video.? all you would have to do is put the track mat mode to screen so you are able to the background. message me if you would like a download link

hey,? it doesn’t have anything saying “animation presets” and doesnt have a preview box either ? :/
theres a red X in front of the screen everytime i use trapcode?
@Echoz1Rain Make ur animation into 3D, then u can use the Rotating? Camera to move it around then use keyframe to animate it.

Hello I’m from France and trying to understand english.. but I love your videos. I’m going to have after effects in one week.. i’ve to wait for !! But, I’ve the impression that Hllywoods productions use that,… but? french no.. I prefer much better cinematic looj from america, so your video will help me !!!

To clarify, it’s more like a border, a better descriptive I should’ve? used, so yea, a black border.
I noticed that afer I applied the effect there was a dark circular line in the shape of? the elipitical tool left behind my project. Even though I feathered it, this black circle appears. How do I get rid of it? thanks.

ive? never seen vignetting in hollywood films. That only happens in amateur music videos

That was very helpful. I’m new to after effects and I was wondering if you could post a video on how to output your video after you have added your effects? Every time I put film footage in AE, add effects and then render, I end up with a 5 min movie and the file size is enormous. Way to big to upload to anything so how do I get good quality and low file size at the same time? Also, the video in AE has very thin lines across it that you can see when something moves.? How do I fix that? Plz help.

but i actually liked the way the colour was before you did? the colour correction. I think the darkness added took away the nice colour of the sun behind him like the nice green on the grass. But I guess it just depends what mood youre going for.
