Cluttered backgrounds don’t usually work well for detailed extractions. There are ways to do it if there is good contrast between the foreground and background. You can blend multiple alpha channels. This is much more complicated than the technique in this video and really can’t summed up in a short response here.
The best solution is tho shoot the photo with a solid colored background if you are wanting to extract it.? The results will be much better with less work.
The open and closed brackets? reduce and enlarge the brush size,
Im having some issues… The picture that I am using doesnt have one color background. The walls have patterns on them and Im sitting on a chair. When I follow your tutorial it highlights more then? it should and I end up cutting my arm or leg, which we dont want. What should I do?
this is even better than alpha channel selection !
Whats the keyboard shortcut? to reduce brush size ?
Huge? thanx, great technique!
Thanks! This? was really helpful!
